Chopin as seen by Russians

Chopin?s genius and music was also celebrated in Russia.

Grzegorz Wisnewski, the former Polish cultural attaché in Moscow, who is already well known for other publications about Rusian-Polish cultural relationships, recites from his book about Chopin?s reception with Russian musicians, authors and intellects such as Leo Tolstoi, Anton Rubinstein, later Boris Pasternak and Rodion Schedrin amongst others. Works of the great Pole that had the most influence on Russian cultural life at that time and that were stated upon by his Russian peers will be heard during the presentation.
